A dear client that I had been following for years called me one day and finally confirmed what I had always known was going to happen. While I wasn’t shocked or even surprised, as she bluntly put it, the incident “knocked her out of the water.”

You see, for years she swore she would never, ever, ever hear from her soulmate again “in a million years,” but now she did!

From my perspective, it was always just a matter of time. Over the years I told her not to lose faith and to hold on to the mysterious love they shared because one day he would come back to her. But she kept shrugging, rolling her eyes, and muttering things like “In my dreams” and “When pigs fly.” She just couldn’t accept that he would reappear in her life one day.

I must admit that while I wasn’t surprised by this long-awaited outcome, I was a little intrigued by it for the simple reason that I was sure her continued negative thoughts and feelings about the situation would ultimately generate so much energy Resistance, so much so that it would make it impossible for her to reconnect with him at all! But not even her constant self-sabotage and negativity could stop the wheel of fortune and divine timing from turning. If we are destined to connect with a soul mate, whether we believe in the process or not, it is bound to happen one way or another.

There is certainly a power of manifestation in our thoughts and words, so that what we say and believe to be true will become our reality, for we are truly the prophets of our destiny. But if something is written in the stars and locked into our soul plan, it doesn’t matter much in the end. We can certainly slow things down unnecessarily, or complicate them, causing ourselves endless stress, anxiety, and frustration, but if it’s meant to be, that’s what’s going to happen.

For her, I always saw this love connection as destined to happen in their lifetime – once they both dealt with some unfinished business and unfinished karmic responsibilities of some other soul contract. And now, just as the gods predicted, it has finally happened.

She told me that he called her and wanted to meet and talk. They met at a coffee shop around the corner after get off work, and he told her how sorry he was for not calling her and how he’d been missing her all these years.

He later revealed that he had been in a loveless marriage and had to divorce because he could no longer live the lie. Apparently, he recently threw in the towel on his wife and took some time for self-reflection. He took some time off, went on vacation, and apparently became clearer in his thinking so that he could embark on a path that would lead him to greater achievements.

They eventually made plans to meet again later that night and ended up talking until midnight, as they often did before life pulled them apart. Now they are planning a trip to Mexico and are still at an age where they can enjoy, relax and create memories together. As she said, life was finally good for her.

I’m glad he finally contacted her because she literally put her life on hold waiting for him. She could have let other people into her life, but she waited for him and put all her energy into this man. Deep down, she’d always known he was the one, even though she couldn’t believe he’d come back. But as I have told her in the past, everything happens in divine timing!

I’m glad everything worked out and they got back together sooner rather than later. She’d waited long enough.
