While most dreams are just wanderings of our subconscious, premonitions in dreams are far more wonderful and profound. A prophetic dream represents a glimpse beyond the veil of the present – a foreshadowing of what is to come. Just as ancient oracles and soothsayers were said to be able to foresee the future, those who experience premonitions in dreams can receive extraordinary previews of events and circumstances before they unfold in reality.
These are not vague symbolisms or absurd fantasies, but dreams based on stunning accuracy and detail about the future. Premonition dreams open a mysterious passage in the river of time. Our consciousness is intimately intertwined with the fabric of the universe in ways that we do not yet fully understand.
These dreams excite us with their dazzling predictive power and give us the possibility of predicting the future. They spark our curiosity about the true extent of human potential. If we can glimpse what lies ahead through our dreams, what other secrets and untapped abilities might our minds hold?
While skeptics may dismiss premonition dreams as imagination or coincidence, those who have experienced them know that a greater mystery awaits. By studying this phenomenon, we are one step closer to solving the deepest mysteries of existence itself. Prophetic dreams were the first forays into dimensions yet to be explored by science and philosophy. It inspires us to further expand the boundaries of our understanding.
If you experience premonitions in your dreams, here are answers to some frequently asked questions, such as: understanding prophecies from normal dreams, how to identify your psychic visions, understand them better, and then know what to do with them.
The true story of your dream premonition
My premonition of talent in a dream – Tom (Kentucky, USA)
One night, while I was asleep, I found myself drifting towards a light. As I got closer, I started to see some of my dead family members. I woke up wondering if there was a possible explanation that I had just met them on the other side. The next year I found out who my uncle was and he paid me to visit him. When I arrived at his home in Indiana, I told him about my precognitive experience. He confirmed that the person I met in the light was my father’s sister. I asked him if he knew who the people I saw were. He said I described my father’s brothers. I thought wow! Then he said to me, “Tom, you, your dad, and I all have this gift. We have accurate premonitions in our dreams.” I was like, okay, that explains a lot.
Premonition in a dream. Divine intervention or chance? – Author: Leonie (Gigi Ganup, WA, Australia)
A few years ago, after waking up from a restless night and early morning of vivid dreams, I recounted one such vivid dream to my ex-husband. (I might add that my husband always laughs at me for experiences of this nature, so I’m reluctant to tell him, but this dream was important enough to me.) – In my dream, I saw a A dark-haired and bearded man in a suit walks around the scaffolding on the first floor of a house that is being built. As the premonition of the dream unfolds, the man seems to be thrown to the ground, among the ruins of the building above. – In view of the unpleasant events that occurred in this dream, I asked him to call his brother and tell him not to go to his construction site. (You can imagine what goes into this request). Since my brother-in-law is a builder, Italian, has a beard, and wears a suit most of the time at work, I figured it had something to do with him. About 4 hours later, I was having coffee at a friend’s house, telling her about my husband’s reaction to the dream, when her phone rang. My husband knew I was there so I went to call and was told to go to the hospital immediately because my middle son had just fallen from his uncle’s construction site. As an extra job, he would sometimes help him clean up the corpses of merchants. Unbeknownst to me, he had been cleaning the scaffolding upstairs throughout the day and throwing some out of the window. The scaffold grabbed him by his T-shirt, dragged him to the ground, and threw him into the rubble below. He was bruised and shaking, his teeth were scratched and broken, but he was lucky enough to recover within a few days. I went to the scene to get his car and when I turned the corner I saw the same scene as in my dream. If I hadn’t told my husband and my friends about these crazy dreams, I would undoubtedly still have been laughed at.
See the vision of the future – Author: Angel (Springfield, Ohio, USA)
When I was young, I had premonitions about the future in my dreams. These premonitions always appear at the end of my dreams, and they seem like random scenes in my dreams that have nothing to do with the dream. I first thought they were random dreams and random images popping up in my subconscious…until they started happening. Importantly, these dreams were never scary, thankfully they were always about me and my perspective. I usually dream in the third person perspective, but whenever these visions occur, they are always in my perspective. I never know when these visions occur, and I have no control over their mysterious origin.
Small Island Developing States Premonition – Author: Alyssa (Vancouver, Washington, USA)
In one of my dream premonitions, I was walking through the halls of a hospital until I reached this door. When I opened the door and walked into the room, I saw a group of doctors standing around the patient on the bed. I walked over to the bed and found a baby lying on the bed. I don’t know the baby’s name, but he means a lot to me and I know he’s a boy. The attending doctor looked at me and said, “I’m sorry, there’s nothing we can do.” I was shocked and kept saying, “No! No! There must be something wrong.” That’s when I started performing CPR on the baby, all the while thinking he was too small and I was going to break him. The dream ended when I revived him. I don’t remember anything when I wake up. It was 5am and all I knew was that something was tugging at me, keeping me awake. Later that day, I discovered that Aunt Michelle had woken up in the middle of the night to find her baby, Armani, without a pulse and a bloody nose. She called 911 and eventually performed CPR on him. When the ambulance got there, they found his pulse but lost him on the way to the hospital. Eventually it became SIDS.
Princess Diana’s premonition in her dream ——Caroline (South Africa)
I developed a strange interest in Princess Diana. A concern. I watched the interview on Panorama TV and loudly announced: “She doesn’t have much longer to live.” Then I was sitting in a car with a car salesman and I said: “Is the Mercedes-Benz the safest car to be involved in an accident?” He said Yes. And I said, “But it’s not completely safe,” it’s just a feeling. Then I dreamed that a blond woman climbed into a big black car and I was on top. I grabbed her blond hair with great force and tried to pull her to prevent her from getting into the car. Very emotional. I woke up and told my husband about my dream. This dream made me very uneasy. Finally, I went back to sleep. The next day, I saw the news of Princess Diana’s death being reported non-stop on television. I was shocked. I’ve had a lot of premonitions in my dreams, but this was one of the strangest telepathic dreams – I was stunned.
premonition of burning – Ceci (Kansas City, USA)
I dated this guy for six months and spent a lot of time at his apartment. One day, I was lying on the bed in his apartment, in a daze, thinking in my own little world. I thought about random things like – what if there was a fire in the apartment – figuring out if the place burned down, it would start in a certain corner. The bathroom is probably a safe place! I even started imagining escape routes if something like this happened. This went on for three months and I decided I was just overthinking it! Before I go to work, I check all my appliances and make sure everything is turned off. I even thought about changing the surroundings of the apartment to have a good flow of energy. On the last day, I told him that it was not good to live on the ground floor of the apartment because I felt the energy from upstairs was too heavy and pushed down! I went home and slept at my house that night because he went out that night and ended up sleeping at his friend’s house. Something he wouldn’t normally do! That night, I tossed and turned in my sleep at home. I felt hot flashes all night, like I was burning, like something was wrong, but I wasn’t sure. I woke up the next morning and called him wondering why he wasn’t picking up my call. So I drove to his apartment because I was worried because he always answered my calls. When I arrived at his apartment, I was horrified to find that everything from the top floor to the second floor to his apartment had also been burned down! Finally he called me and told me he was okay and that he wasn’t home when it burned down.
