To say that April 2024 is an important month would be an understatement.
Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock—or you’re new to astrology—you know this In April 2024, Jupiter and Uranus will conjunct in Taurus. The exact conjunction takes place on April 20-21, 2024, but its influence is already increasing and will be felt more strongly in the second half of the month.
Before Jupiter conjunct Uranus, we have another important astrological event: Intense Solar Eclipse in Aries.
This eclipse is important for many reasons: It is a total eclipse, which means it is by default more intense than a partial eclipse (most solar eclipses are partial). It is perfectly conjunct Chiron. It’s been a long time since we’ve experienced such an intense solar eclipse!
The first half of the month has been stressful, to say the least. Mercury retrograde, total solar eclipse, Mars and Saturn conjunct, etc.
However, the second half of the month promises to be even more exciting. From April 20 to 21, 2024, Jupiter and Uranus will be conjunct. On April 26, 2024, Mercury will go direct. At the end of the month, the relationship planets Venus and Mars will enter their respective signs.
I really love the last week of April. For the first time in a long time, it feels like things are moving in a positive direction.
But let’s take a look at the most important transits of the month:
April 5, 2024 – Venus enters Aries
April 5, 2024 Venus Leave Pisces and Enter Aries.
Perhaps the best quality of Venus in Aries is emotional honesty. When we connect with the boldness and energy of Venus in Aries with an open mind, we automatically connect with the fearless and unapologetic authentic part of ourselves.
Venus in Aries is an excellent time to practice emotional honesty with yourself and others. Emotional honesty is not about making demands or making others feel wrong. It is our repressed emotions that end up becoming aggressive or self-righteous.
April 8, 2024 – New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Aries
On April 8, 2024, we have 19° Aries New Moon and Solar Eclipse. The solar eclipse is closely conjunct Chiron (at 19° Aries). Like the phoenix during a solar eclipse, we will rise from our wounds with a new sense of identity.
Thoughts, emotions, flashbacks, events, or interactions that arise during a solar eclipse will trigger our vulnerability and unprocessed pain, but if we remain there, we have a unique opportunity to rewrite the story of our wounds in order to unravel Its hidden secrets. Potential.
April 10, 2024 – Mars and Saturn conjunct in Pisces
April 10, 2024 Mars conjunct Saturn Pisces 14°.
Mars wants to act now, but Saturn wants to do it later – not because he’s lazy (on the contrary), but because he wants to think things through and make sure he builds something of lasting value.
Mars conjunct Saturn can be very frustrating – but it can also give us that extra push and determination to get things done by finding a good compromise between impulse-driven action and practicality.
April 15, 2024 – Mercury conjunct Chiron
April 15, 2024 Mercury retrograde conjunct Chiron at 18° Aries. This is the second in a series of three Mercury-Chiron transits (the first on March 20 at 19° Aries and the third on May 7 at 21° Aries).
Mercury Retrograde, with its introspective quality, gives us the opportunity to dig deeper into the root causes of our wounds (Chiron) and reframe our understanding of ourselves.
Perhaps our wounds—and the stories surrounding them—are not as permanent or definitive as we once believed. Perhaps we can have a clearer understanding. Maybe we can rewrite this narrative.
April 19, 2024 – The Sun enters Taurus
April 19, 2024 The Sun enters Taurus. Welcome to Taurus season, a very special season, especially this year.
Although Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus are now very close to each other, the Sun’s entry into Taurus will give the green light to tap into the archetypal energies of Taurus.
The Sun in Taurus will give us a clearer idea of what the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction means to us personally.
April 21, 2024 – Jupiter conjunct Uranus
April 20-21, 2024 Jupiter conjunct Uranus Located at 21° Taurus.
The Jupiter-Uranus conjunction is an exciting transit in itself. What’s not to be excited about? Jupiter is a huge benefic planet, bringing opportunities for growth and expansion. Uranus is the planet of progress and surprise.
We have a Jupiter-Uranus conjunction every 13-14 years, and this is the only conjunction in our lifetime that occurs in Taurus. Jupiter conjunct Uranus promises to bring about a very exciting opportunity in the sign of Taurus in your chart.
There is something magical about this transit. Uranus brings an element of excitement, and Jupiter suggests that while we may not be able to predict what Uranus has in store for us, it’s likely to be positive.
Of course, just because traffic looks great on paper, that doesn’t mean everyone will win the lottery.
If you have planets or angles around 21° in Taurus (or Cancer, Virgo, Capricorn, and Pisces), you may experience positive manifestations of the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction.
Conversely, if you have planets or angles around 21° in other fixed signs, this powerful transit may initially challenge you. This is not to say that the developments brought about by Jupiter and Uranus are not positive in nature, but it may not feel that way at first, as change is not always easy, especially for fixed signs.
No matter what happens (or doesn’t happen) during this conjunction, be aware of any messages or downloads you receive. There will be opportunities – but you have to seize them and say yes to them.
April 23, 2024 – Full Moon in Scorpio
On April 23, 2024, we have Full Moon in Scorpio 4°. This is an intense full moon squaring its ruler Pluto (now at 2° Aquarius).
The Scorpio Full Moon is a great time to release emotional baggage that no longer serves us. However, Pluto square is anything but comfortable. Power struggles, hidden agendas, or subconscious desires may surface.
Pluto will ask us to face these issues head-on, no matter how uncomfortable the process may be. However, it is through this process of facing the shadow that we experience true self-awareness and empowerment.
April 26, 2024 – Mercury goes direct
April 26, 2024 Mercury is directly at 15° Aries. This is a relief after a period of reflection and readjustment during a very intense Mercury retrograde period.
Due to its position, Mercury has and will continue to spend an unusual amount of time near Chiron and the North Node.
Now that Mercury has gone direct, it’s time to reflect on the lessons learned and move forward with a clearer perspective. Once we have identified our self-sabotaging thought patterns, we can now rewrite them with healthier, more empowering beliefs.
April 29, 2024 – Mars conjunct Neptune
April 29, 2024 Mars conjunct Neptune 28° Pisces.
When Mars, the planet of personal will, conjunct Neptune, the planet of divine guidance and surrender, the message is: Don’t force your way through.
Listen for subtle messages, notice unexpected discoveries, and find a higher purpose for your actions. When we are open to divine guidance, our actions have meaning and impact.
April 29, 2024 – Venus enters Taurus
April 29, 2024 Venus enters Taurus, her residence sign. We all know that when Venus is happy, everyone is happy.
Venus in Taurus encourages us to slow down and savor life’s simple pleasures. As native Taurus Dave Gahan says, “Words are very unnecessary.” We instinctively believe that in order to be happy (Venus) we must have more, do more, get busy, or fill a void.
But Venus—the planet of happiness and contentment—needs none of that. Venus in Taurus reminds us that happiness lies not in doing, but in being. Just stay in the moment and enjoy the peace and quiet.
April 30, 2024 – Mars enters Aries
Uh oh! April 30, 2024 Mars enters Aries. No other planet transitions so boldly and successfully from the dreamy waters of Pisces to the fiery realm of Aries.
If you’ve been feeling a little sluggish the past few weeks with Mars in Pisces, that’s about to change now.
In Aries, Mars does what he knows best: takes action. When Mars is in other signs, we always find reasons not to take action. Mars in Taurus? “This takes too long.” Mars in Gemini? “I can’t concentrate.” Mars in Cancer? “What if you hurt someone’s feelings?” Mars in Leo? “What if I make a fool of myself?” Mars in Virgo? “What if it’s not perfect?”.
When Mars is in Aries, that’s now. We naturally connect with the part of our psyche that is ready to take action.
PS: In the next few weeks, I will be writing two reports: one on the Solar Eclipse in Aries and one on the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Taurus. stay tuned!
