Hastur/Kotu of Corvi (Virgo 10-23.20)
Ketu moves into Hastur sign February 7th In real node systems and above March 4th in the mean node system, and it remains in the true note system until December 2ND and in an average node system until November 10th.
Hastur constellation is located in 10-23.20 Virgo In modern astronomy it is associated with the constellation Corvi or the 5 stars representing the hand. It is more associated with the Vata or air element as it has a strong connection with the Mercury aspect of quick and easy humor. It is certainly associated with fields and gardens, arts and crafts, stock exchanges, and even amusement parks. Hasta means “hand” in Sanskrit, but also has another translation meaning laughter. Hastur is associated with palmistry and professions that use the hands like masseuses and handymen. The hands also symbolize hands reaching for the rays of the sun, symbolizing the god who gives life and begins the day’s activities.
This sign is associated with Savitar, the mischievous god of trickery, entertainment, games, and sports, hence the combination with Virgo.
On the dark side of this sign, people with Sun, Moon or Ascendant in Hastur may enjoy gambling, fraud and manipulation, depending on the worries here. It also promotes serious and satirical writing, makes people a jack of all trades and a master of none, and supports those who want to rebel against authority for the public welfare and betterment of their communities.
Due to its association with Virgo, Hastur is ruled by the Moon and Mercury. This is one of my favorite signs because it promotes sensitive caring and nurturing as well as family life. Mercury brings the happy and relaxed energy of the moon.
KETU until:
In this sign, Ketu may experience great frustration and difficulty in transcending the limits and limitations of life. It’s important to verbalize these frustrations rather than bottle them up.
Ketu can suppress anger, and in the Moon sign it can bring about mood swings, but if these are dealt with, great insights and personal growth can result. Take the time to go through this long transition and make a personal transformation. Virgo supports therapy and counseling, so work with someone to delve deep into the soul and subconscious and learn to express those abstract feelings and patterns.
Virgo is a sign that likes purity, order, cleanliness and high moral standards, and Ketu can move us in this direction and improve our lives.
Hasta nakshatra is associated with hands-on healing, astrology and palmistry, so interest in these may be ignited with new power. This transit may help practitioners tap deeper into their intuitive realm, thereby unleashing greater healing powers.
Hasta is a sign associated with crafts and hand work, so craftsmen can enjoy these activities and delve deeper into their souls, recognizing new spiritual forms they can create with their hands.
As with all Mercury/Ketu combinations (Virgo belongs to Mercury), we must control our sharp tongues, avoid fights that are not worth fighting, and be careful not to get bogged down and lose focus when active, as this may lead to accidents. So if you get into an angry argument or argument, find a way to keep it at home or at work rather than bringing it into your mind while driving.
Ketu is a fiery planet, but it can suppress its anger and then unleash it suddenly, so make sure you don’t let anything build up.
